Fans are excited that their long awaited new season to ‘Arcane’ is almost here, with the show releasing its second season in November 2024. However, the extremely popular Netflix series is confirmed to be ending with Season 2, but apparently there are still “many stories to tell” in the animated ‘League Of Legends’ world.

Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche,” said co-creator Christian Linke in a statement. “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of ‘Arcane’ wraps up with this second season. But ‘Arcane’ is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

Debuting back in November 2021, the Netflix animated series has been a hit with longtime ‘League of Legends’ video game fans while garnering the attention and acclaim of newcomers.

The show was met with critical acclaim, holding at 100% by critics on Rotten Tomatoes since its debut, and a 96% from fans. The show also won four Emmys including outstanding animated program in 2022.

High praise was deservedly received for its unique animation style, riveting character development, and complex story.

Arcane’ stars Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell as sisters Vi and Jinx, two powerful characters from the ‘League of Legends’ video games.

Synopsis: Set in Utopian Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart.
