The fourth and final ‘Conjuring’ instalment releases next year, as New Line Cinema has set a September 5, 2025 release date. The film is currently untitled.

Michael Chavez (The Curse of La Llorona, The Nun II, and The Maiden) will direct the movie after taking on the third instalment in the franchise; ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.’

James Wan was the driving force behind the first two Conjuring films, earning $320 million worldwide on a $20 million budget for the original feature. There is no confirmation that James Wan will be returning to produce or act as a creative consultant on the project.

The series centers on real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorrain Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Combined with its spinoff movies, the franchise has grossed more than $2 billion globally, making it the most successful horror franchise of all time.
