Zoë Kravitz Joins Austin Butler In Crime Thriller From Darren Aronofsky
Zoë Kravitz is in the process of doing press for her upcoming feature directorial debut with Channing Tatum, ‘Blink Twice.’ Now she’s returning back to acting in her first role since 2022’s ‘The Batman.’ The actress is in advanced talks to join Austin Butler in Darren Aronofsky’s crime thriller ‘Caught Stealing’ for Sony Pictures.
Aronofsky will direct direct the film, which is based on the book by Charlie Huston. Huston will also pen script.
The film follows Hank Thompson, a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s plunged into a chaotic fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s New York City.
‘Blink Twice,’ which Kravitz wrote and produced as well as directed, is gaining traction following the release of its first trailer, even being compared to the ‘Knives Out’ franchise. The Amazon MGM Studios feature release on August 23.
