Miles Teller, known for his roles in 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Whiplash,’ will join Academy Award-winning actor Casey Affleck ('Manchester By The Sea') in the manhunt thriller 'Wild Game,’ from Oscar-nominated screenwriter Jason Hall ('American Sniper').

The project will be produced by Fred Berger, a two-time Oscar nominee ('A Complete Unknown,’ 'La La Land'), and Brian Kavanaugh Jones ('Longlegs,’ 'The Bikeriders'). Production is being handled by Range, in collaboration with Hall and Steve Richards from Endurance, which is also financing the film. Filming is scheduled to start in the spring.

'Capstone Pictures' is set to promote 'Wild Game' to international buyers at the ongoing European Film Market in Berlin, with the company’s CEO Christian Mercuri spearheading efforts from their Berlin office at the Mandala. CAA Media Finance, Range Select, and UTA Independent Film Group are jointly handling domestic sales.

The film, adapted by Jason Hall from Frank Bergon’s novel, which is based on true events, features a gripping plot: “When Fish and Game officer Jack Irigaray (Casey Affleck) joins a routine poacher arrest in the Black Rock Desert, a deadly encounter with renegade Claude Dallas (Miles Teller) shatters his reality and propels him into a relentless quest for vengeance — one that blurs the line between justice and obsession.”

Teller shared his enthusiasm about the project: “I’m really looking forward to reuniting with Jason Hall on Wild Game. We’ve had a great collaboration in the past on Thank You For Your Service, and I know he’s going to bring incredible depth to this story. Claude Dallas is such a complex and layered character—tough, relentless, and living by his own code. I can’t wait to get started with this team.”
