‘My Lady Jane’ Canceled After One Season At Amazon, Fans React With Harsh Words For Prime Video
It’s official: ‘My Lady Jane’ has been canceled at Amazon Prime Video after just one, eight-episode season on the streamer. The fantasy-romance show premiered June 27.

The show was based by the book of the same name by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows. The series was created by Gemma Burgess, who also executive produced and served as co-showrunner with Meredith Glynn.
Synopsis: Lady Jane Grey and her husband Guildford live during the reign of Edward, son of Henry VIII. She unexpectedly finds herself crowned queen overnight and becomes the target of criminals who want her throne and her head.
Though the show could not pull in the streaming numbers Prime Video mandated, show was well-received by critics, holding at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, alongside 79% from fans.
