‘Longlegs’ Hits $100 Million Globally, The Highest-Grossing Indie Release Of 2024

Osgood Perkins and Neon’s much discussed horror film ‘Longlegs’ has shattered box office records from an independent standpoint, grossing $100 million at the worldwide box office. The film has become the highest-grossing R-rated indie release of 2024.
The film stars Maika Monroe as FBI Agent Lee Harker, a '“psychic” new recruit who seeks to track down an demonic worshipping serial killer played by an unrecognizable Nicolas Cage.
"I am sort of in awe of all the reactions. They are insane," said Maika Monroe in response to ‘Longlegs’ reviews. "It's all you can hope for, of course, but it's so hard for me because I've seen it. I'm watching it like, 'Oh, yeah, I remember that day. It was funny when this happened.' The reactions are incredible."
‘Longlegs’ was written and directed by Osgood Perkins, and made for a budget of sub-$10 million.
