Camila Mendes Cast In Amazon’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ As Teela

Actress Camila Mendes has landed the role of Teela in Amazon’s upcoming live-action He-Man movie titled, ‘Masters Of The Universe.’ Plot details are currently under wraps.
Best known for playing Veronica in CW series ‘Riverdale,’ Mendes will star opposite He-Man lead Nicholas Galitzine. Before taking part in the project, Mendes will film her leading role in Sony’s reboot of classic 1997 teen-horror movie ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer.’
Teela is described as the captain of the royal guard, adopted by the Man-at-Arms, inventor of weapons. It’s been reported that Mendes took part in a screen test just over two weeks ago alongside other stars from the pic.

The current screenplay has been re-written by Chris Butler, with original drafts from David Callaham, Aaron Nee and Adam Nee.
The feature will get a wide theatrical release, aiming for June 5, 2026.
