CONFIRMED: Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are set to star in Emerald Fennell’s feature adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel ‘Wuthering Heights.’ Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment will produce the film.

Fennell writes and directs the project alongside a producing credit.

The film is currently in pre-production and will shoot in the United Kingdom in late 2024.

Robbie will not only produce but star in the film playing Catherine Earnshaw, while Elordi will portray Heathcliff.

‘Wuthering Heights’ is Fennell’s third collaboration with LuckyChap, producing Fennell’s previous films ‘Promising Young Woman’ (2020), in which the director won for Best Original Screenplay, and ‘Saltburn’ (2023).

Jacob Elordi also starred in ‘Saltburn,’ making himself, Robbie, and Fennell close in working partnerships.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë is a gothic novel that follows Heathcliff as he gets revenge on the people who kept him away from his love, Cathy Earnshaw.

Film is currently set for a 2025 release.
