Anticipation for Matt Reeves’ ‘Batman: Part II’ is high not just among fans but also for Robert Pattinson, who is eager to don the Batman suit.

During an interview for Pattinson’s latest film ‘Mickey 17’ (directed by Bong Joon-ho), the actor expressed his hopes to reprise his role soon, saying, "I f*cking hope so.”

He humorously noted the delay might age him significantly, quipping, "I started out as young Batman and I’m going to be f*cking old Batman by the sequel.”

The Batman sequel is set to begin filming at the end of the year, with its release slated for 2027 following multiple postponements. This marks over five years since the first film debuted — a delay that has stirred some impatience among both fans and the film's cast.

Pattinson shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming production, revealing his insight into the sequel's direction: "I know what it's about. Matt [Reeves] is a very careful writer, but I finally know what it's about."

In the meantime, Pattinson appears in Bong Jong Ho's new sci-fi movie, ‘Mickey 17,’ where he portrays an "expendable" tasked with a perilous mission on an ice planet.

Reflecting on his experience on working with Bong Jong Ho, Pattinson said, "I loved it," and praised the Oscar-winning director's unique approach, adding, "Everyone has such reverence for Bong, so in the build-up I was really nervous, and he does have an unusual way of working. It was one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had."
