The next Conjuring feature has started production in the UK, and British stars Ben Hardy and Mia Tomlinson have been cast in the horror franchise’s fourth instalment.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga also return as their iconic characters Ed & Lorraine Warren in New Line’s officially titled ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites.’ This will be the final Conjuring film with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga and plot details are currently under wraps. If the film’s predecessors are anything to go by, the story will be based on real-life case files of the Warrens.

Michael Chaves is directing the film, who tackled previous franchise instalments including ‘The Curse of La Llorona (2019),’ ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021), and ‘The Nun II’ (2023). He’s aided New Line’s Conjuring Universe to reach a $2.25 billion milestone at the global box office, and with a franchise total budget of $208 million, making it the highest-grossing horror franchise ever.
