Osgood Perkins’ latest horror flick has captivated audiences around the world, stemming from its illustrious marketing campaign. Nicolas Cage stars as the serial killer Longlegs, with Maika Monroe as lead FBI Agent Lee Harker, as she tries to take down the occult fanatic.

The film earned a $6.7 million weekend from 2,730 screens — for a domestic total of $58.6 million in week 3 of its box office run. This means Neon’s ‘Parasite’ has been dethroned from $53.37 million as ‘Longlegs’ becomes the indie distributor’s highest grossing film ever and shows no signs of slowing down. The film sits in 5th place at the domestic box office.

Internationally, the film sits at $66.7 million, and has several more weeks of box office ticket sales before it lands on streaming services such as Prime Video.

‘Longlegs’ is now the top grossing R-rated horror of 2024 and the highest grossing indie horror film of the past ten years — even topping A24’s ‘Talk To Me’ and ‘Hereditary.’
