Daisy Ridley is gearing up for another high-octane role, taking the lead in the action-packed thriller ‘Dedication’ from Martin Campbell, best known for his directorial work on ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘GoldenEye.’ The project marks a reunion for Ridley and Campbell, who recently worked together on ‘Cleaner,’ an action-thriller film to be released in 2025.

‘Dedication’ is scripted by Dan Gordon (‘Wyatt Earp,’ ‘The Hurricane’) andis set to make waves at the American Film Market, with international sales handled by Highland Film Group and CAA Media Finance managing domestic rights.

The film centers on Major Billie Jean Parker (Ridley), a highly decorated Marine Corps commander who faces career ruin after a mission in the Philippines ends with civilian casualties, despite capturing the anarchist leader Omar Romatas. Struggling with the fallout, she returns home to visit her terminally ill father, Clyde, a former Marine. Clyde’s last wish is for Billie to attend a dedication ceremony at a school building named in his honor. However, the event spirals into chaos when Bento, the vengeful son of Romatas, launches a brutal assault and takes hostages. Forced to re-enter combat mode, Billie uses her military expertise to set traps and systematically take down the attackers. As she fights for survival, Billie must confront her past and prove her worth in a showdown that will ultimately shape her legacy.
