‘Knives Out 3’ Finishes Filming, Director Rian Johnson Says “This Was A Real Special Shoot”
The official title of the third instalment in Netflix/Lionsgate’s ‘Knives Out’ saga is ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.’
Director and writer of the third ‘Knives Out’ film, Rian Johnson, announced that filming has wrapped for ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Story,’ and took to social media to share his celebratory last day on-set.
[“Aaaand that’s a wrap on Wake Up Dead Man. Went so fast! Best crew, incredible cast, this was a really special shoot and I cannot wait to put it together,” Johnson shared in a post on X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter.]
‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ will release in 2025, but no specified date is confirmed as of yet.
Daniel Craig will reprise his leading role as Benoit Blanc, alongside an all new cast (continuing the same formula as the first two films: new cast, new story, new location) including Josh Brolin, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, Andrew Scott, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, and Thomas Haden Church.
The film began shooting back in June and now it’s off to post-production.
