Christopher Nolan’s latest film has added two more impressive names to its already impressive cast. The project will feature big names like Matt Damon, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o, and Anne Hathaway.

Oscar-winner Charlize Theron and returning Nolan collaborator on ‘Tenet’, Robert Pattinson, will both star in the upcoming 2026 film.

Nolan will helm the film off his own script, and has partnered with Universal for international distribution. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2026.

Specific plot details remain under wraps, but insiders suggest that Damon, Holland, Hathaway, and Pattinson will take on leading roles, while Nyong’o and Zendaya are expected to appear in supporting capacities.

This new film marks another collaboration between Nolan and Universal, following the massive success of ‘Oppenheimer,’ which garnered the historical R-rated drama to nearly $1 billion at the global box office, and took home the Academy Award for Best Picture. ‘Oppenheimer’ was Nolan’s first film with Universal after he famously parted ways with Warner Bros. in 2020.

Unlike ‘Oppenheimer,’ which Universal acquired through a competitive bidding process, this new project was secured directly by the studio, according to sources.
