Internationally, the film's strong performance includes a notable holdover, with a second-weekend decline of just 44%, which is significantly better than the previous Venom films (‘Let There Be Carnage’ dropped by 55%, and the ‘Venom’ by 59%). Despite a softer domestic opening compared to the earlier films, ‘The Last Dance’ benefited from excellent overseas retention.

China continues to be the top market for the film, with earnings of $70.6 million so far, and predictions suggesting it will finish at $88.5 million in the region. Other key markets include Mexico ($13.4 million), the UK ($11.9 million), and Korea ($9.4 million). The film is also performing well in Imax, generating a global total of $25.5 million, with $17.7 million from international venues.

‘Venom 3’ holds a budget of $120 million, and earned it back on its first weekend run. The film opened October 25, 2024 to poor critic reviews while claiming a great fan response — 39% from 177 verified Rotten Tomatoes critics and 81% from 2500+ verified audience reviews.
